Max Kordek has officially returned as full-time CEO of Lisk.
Returning to the project he founded in 2016, Max brings renewed founder-level conviction and an ambition to reclaim Lisk’s position as a leading force in the market. He is joined by Oliver Beddows, founder and former CTO, who returns as full-time Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
What does this mean for Lisk?
The First Move: Absolute Focus
As his first step back as CEO, Max is reinforcing our commitment to being all in on Lisk, with our time, attention, and resources aligned behind one clear focus.
Under his immediate direction, the Onchain Foundation will wind down its parallel initiatives, including the research arm, Onchain, and the wallet product, Pass App. This reflects a clear decision to concentrate all the Foundation's efforts and resources towards one focus: Lisk
What This Consolidation Means
By winding down these other initiatives, Max is supercharging Lisk on three critical fronts
- Unified team: Team members from Onchain and Pass App have joined Lisk, adding more people power and experience.
- Expanded funding: Financial resources previously split among initiatives are now fully reallocated to drive the expansion of the Lisk ecosystem.
- Focus, locked in: The Onchain Foundation’s full attention and effort are now directed to one entity: Lisk. The result is a leaner, higher-capacity organization where resources are aligned toward the same goal.
Taken together, these steps give Lisk more capacity, more backing, and a clearer operating structure to pursue its mission with even greater momentum as we enter 2026.
