Lisk SDK v2.3.9
This month we released the Lisk SDK v2.3.9. This release fixes the block processing failure at the transport layer due to the postBlock event receiving an invalid event message. More details about this release can be found on GitHub.

Lisk Service Releases
Lisk Service v0.4.2
In August we released the Lisk Service v0.4.2. This version adds performance fixes for large networks and updates the fee estimator. More details about this release can be found on GitHub.

This month we released the Lisk Service v0.4.3. This version includes performance and reliability updates, as well as numerous bug fixes. More details about this release can be found on GitHub.
Lisk Migrator Release
Lisk Migrator v1.0.1
In August we released the Lisk Migrator v1.0.1. This release relaxes the version requirements for Lisk Core, thus making it compatible with the Lisk Core v2.1.7. More details about this release can be found on GitHub.
Lisk Migrator v1.0.2
This month we also released the Lisk Migrator v1.0.2. This release fixes a bug preventing the reading of custom config files. More details about this release can be found on GitHub.
Improved Lisk Documentation
The Lisk documentation continues to evolve. In August we published the improved documentation which allows developers to quickly get started with the Lisk SDK. The improved format of our documentation covers the difference between blockchain applications and dApps, as well as a series of updates on the Getting Started page, the Introduction section, and the Development Guides section.
Meet the New Lisk Mainnet
On August 21st, at around 2pm CEST, the Lisk Mainnet v2 successfully completed the migration to Lisk Mainnet v3. This comprises the biggest protocol change to ever occur on the Lisk blockchain and marks the beginning of a whole new era for the Lisk network as it eliminates all weaknesses of the Lisk Mainnet v2 related to fees, consensus algorithm, and accounts, and also prepares and improves the Lisk blockchain for the upcoming interoperability release in many regards. We published a blog post including an overview of the new and updated features which are now available on the new Lisk Mainnet v3.
Presenting the Cross-Chain Update Transaction
We have released a blog post as part of the interoperability blog post series covering an important transaction used to communicate information from one chain to another: the cross-chain update. In addition to this, and to answer questions around the topic of "Cross-Chain Update Transaction", our Research Scientist, Maxime Gagnebin, and our Head of Research, Jan Hackfeld, hosted a live AMA on YouTube on Tuesday, 31st of August, which you can watch here.
The Lisk Mainnet Party
On August 21st, in order to properly celebrate the Lisk Mainnet v3 migration we hosted a live event on YouTube, to communicate the protocol changes coming with the new Lisk Mainnet, to chat with team members who worked actively to make this update a success and to celebrate the biggest protocol change to ever occur on the Lisk blockchain. Few days later, once the network was confirmed to be stable and everything was running smoothly, we officially announced the successful Lisk Mainnet v3 migration in another online event - Lisk Mainnet Afterparty - also hosted on YouTube.
Monthly AMA: Ask Max Anything
Wednesday, August 18th, Max Kordek, CEO and Co-Founder at Lisk, hosted the monthly live streamed AMA (Ask Max Anything) on YouTube. He answered questions about the biggest achievement for Lisk so far - the Lisk Mainnet migration, the protocol improvements coming with the new Lisk Mainnet v3, the new voting system, as well as the plans for the upcoming months.
