The Lisk ICO has now ended with a total of 14,009 BTC and 80 million XCR exchanged!

As of the 21st March 2016 the Lisk ICO has now officially ended and wow! It was a really intense ride these past 4 weeks! The crowd-fund has been an enormous experience for us, with a now burgeoning community, and very substantial amount of funding raised, we are very much looking forward to working on the ecosystem over the next years.

During the ICO, we collected approximately 14,009 BTC and 80,742,575 XCR. This has placed the Lisk ICO as the second most successful cryptocurrency crowd-fund, and one of the top 20 crowd-funds world-wide. This in itself is already a huge achievement for Lisk.

Oliver and I would therefore like to thank all participants from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you all for making our dream come true! Thanks to everyone's contributions, Lisk now has a real chance at becoming one of the biggest players within the blockchain ecosystem. Our hunger for success remains ever strong, so we will be grasping this huge opportunity, and will work harder than ever before to ensure Lisk becomes the go-to platform for decentralized applications and custom blockchains written in JavaScript.

What will happen next?

Over the next few days, more information and details about the ICO will be announced. We will also release a checklist, so you can see if you are fully prepared for the launch. This effort will be combined with a guide on how to generate and validate your Lisk passphrase, and what to do if you lose it before we launch.

Our current plan is to launch Lisk on the 11th April, 2016. This is an estimate based on current workloads, so may change over the next 3 weeks. At launch we will provide a full client so you can directly access your LISK. At this moment it also looks like there will be several exchanges trading LISK immediately, or shortly after launch.

Please note that the current LISK values on our ICO website are not final. The different bonus stages are not included and about 70 BTC has to be refunded because they were sent in too late. We will release a spreadsheet next week on which you can check the exact values.

If you have any further questions regarding the ICO or pending launch, please refer to our support center, where you can submit a support ticket.

Thank you so much!
